The Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) was established in 1996. A unit of Malvika Foundation, New Delhi, which was registered as a Trust on 01.08.1996 under the Registration No. 5537 EIILM has been defining the roles, performing them and re-orienting to the task of providing quality career-oriented education in India.

EIILM aims to equip students not only with the academic inputs but also with diversified skills, knowledge and attitudes to provide a doorway to rewarding careers. EIILM offers a wide variety of programs covering complete range of career-oriented qualifications. The education system at EIILM focuses on imparting knowledge, developing skills and competencies. EIILM endeavors to inculcate a sense of pride, inquiry and achievement in the students.

From its inception, Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) had the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) approved by All India Council of Technical Education, Government of India. The Institute started offering MBA programs under Visva Bharati, a Central University since 1999. EIILM got the status of a 'Constituents College of Visva Bharati.' Visva Bharati had involved EIILM faculty representatives on its 'Board of Studies', the examination papers were set and evaluated also by different faculty members of EIILM. EIILM carries the legacy of having conducted the University of Bradford's BBA (Honors) program for one full term (1998-2001). The program was devised in such a manner that a student could study one year at EIILM and the rest two years at Bradford; two years at EIILM and the third year at Bradford or all three years at either EIILM or Bradford main campus in the UK. Proving the credentials of world-class learning environ, a student at EIILM campus secured the highest position (gold medal) among all the students. EIILM has a history of achieving global quality standards through: EQUIS (European Quality Certification for University Education), reciprocal acceptance of academic standard by University of Bradford, UK and AICTE, Government of India at the same time. The faculty and EIILM enjoy wide acceptance in the national and international academic community.
