Environmental science
provides an understanding of the environment, the impact of human life
on it, and ways and means to preserve the delicate balance between
various parts of the environment in the process of human development. It
is a composition of both natural and social sciences.
Today, the concern for environment, preservation of natural resources
across the world is huge. With environmental degradation on the rise and
the increasing concern for environment, the need for professionals in
this field is increasing at a rapid pace – more so since the supply is
less. Looking at the current state of affairs in environment, the growth
prospects in the sector are huge.
The current efforts being made through out India and across the world
towards clean air, water protection, noise abatement and the like
requires several new environmental products and services, creating many
fresh jobs in this field. As such, environmental science as a profession
